| 6. Precaution for Fume Hoods Use |
A.You are required to checking whether the power voltage meets the specifications of fume hoods and examining ventilator regularly. It is strongly recommended to contact the after-sale service department for any problems.Please don' t repair it in other maintenance centers.
B.The ventilator shall be turned on before using the fume hoods tor experiment.
C.Low-explosion and splash experiments shall close the active glass panel of the fume hoods.Strong explosive experiments in the fume hoods are prohibited for ensuring the operator safety.
D.Please do not touch the active glass panel with your body parts(e.g.head and hand)and even other hard objects during the experiment.
E.Any operations shall be conducted on the working surface of fume hoods.Please do not conduct dangerous and toxic experiments outside the hoods in order to prevent toxic gases volatilization in the lab and endanger operator safety.
F.It is recommended to put a piece of asbestos pad or thermal baffle above the electric stove when used in the fume hoods.
G.The ventilator shall operate additional 1-2 minutes after the experiment finished to ensure the thorough emission of toxic gases and residual
H.After finishing the experiment,residual materials and solutions on the working surface or side plate of the fume hoods shall be cleaned under waste gases. all power supply cut off.Please do not clean the fume hoods under electrified or during operation of electric machine.
